Yes, I meant to spell the title that way. :3
Had a homework assignment where I had to draw 20 sketches of people in the real world. :3 I also wanted to see the new Godzilla movie so I figure I could kill 2 birds with one Stone by doing all that at the Disneyland Resort.
On a whim, I decided to do a sort of real-life hide-and-seek game for SoCal locals in the iRO community. No one won the prizes, but the Gravity Interactive employees and volunteer moderators seemed a bit miffed about being automatically ineligible. Excuse me if I don't want to be friendly with you guys. :U ('Cause that's just WEIRD.)
Anyhow, started out the day driving to Downtown Disney to watch Godzilla at the AMC 20 theater there. Would've parked at Mickey & Friends, but th…Read more >
Wow, just... wow.
My sister was playing the new mobile game Ragnarok: Ash Vacuum when she told me that the [Help] button in the game's Settings linked to the Wiki. At first, I was like "no way, Gravity Interactive can't be THAT stupid." But sure enough, she shows me the Settings menu and presses the [Help] button to find that it directed her to this link:
ARE YOU FLIPPIN' KIDDING ME???
Who... what... WHY?? Why on earth would you direct players of a licensed game to a FANSITE for game support? Did the beta testers not notice this or was this done at the last minute?? I just can't comprehend how you can possibly screw that up!
This is what the button is supposed to link to: https://support.warpp…

Ever since the developers deleted a huge chunk of quests from the game, I've been feeling hesitant to continue adding RO2 quests to the Wiki.Read more >
A few nights ago, I partied up with some regulars on the iRO Community RaidCall. It was pretty fun; a Chaser, a Knight, and a Sage, what could possibly go wrong?
But it was still quite fun. Felt like pre-Renewal RO all over again, partying up with other people and having adventures all over Rune-Midgarts. Why don't people want to do that anymore and just cramp themselves into Gramps TI maps? There's so much more to RO than just Gramps. It disappoints me how people want to limit themselves to what RO has to offer.Read more >
The more and more iRO2 patch notes I read, the more and more irritated I am at how the server is being run and managed by both the iRO2 team and the Korean developers. So with that, I've come up with a timeline of how things should've been done if GRAVITY wasn't full of idiots in their rush for a buck.
This is meant to illustrate just how rushed RO2's development is and why it is in the broken state it's in now. What should have been 3 years' worth of content has been squished into the span of 1 year in the worst way possible.
Upon launch, the only job classes that should be available are 1st Classes (Swordsman, Thief, Magician, Archer, and Acolyte). The reason for this is for easier balancing because you're dealing with less character class…

Ever since a good friend of mine died in 2010 and a coworker I was really fond of died in 2013, I've been trying hard to reach out to anyone who cares to remember me. So when my best bud told me he was having a birthday party, I made the effort to drive those 20+ miles to his place from work (Disneyland) to see him. I got lost for about half an hour before I finally found the party location. (Dem inside streets.)
At the end of the night when most of his other friends went home, we talked and he started tearing up about how alone he had been feeling and how he missed the good ol' days when we were kids and doing all sorts of shenanigans. We lost touch with each other 9 years ago so he was pretty happy to see me again.
Even as kids, I never ab…Read more >

Here are some optional goals to aim for while exploring the wonderful world of Ragnarok Online:
NOTE: Achievements marked with a * are considered personal achievements and cannot be definitively verified via screenshots or videos.
Not hard enough? Try a Player Challenge!
Let's Have A Sleepover!
- screenshot a group of 12 Novices using Play Dead in an empty inn room
- as a Novice, defeat another Novice in PVP
Making The Most of It
- level a Novice to base level 30 while still in the Training Grounds
- create a character for each of the 1st Classes (Swordsman, Acolyte, Archer, Thief, Magician, Merchant)
Expanding My Horizons

A long, long time ago, in
a galaxy far awaythe old iRO Forums that existed from 2007 to 2010 (and was accessible for some time after the transition to the new WarpPortal Forums), I began RO Achievements.
RO Achievements (WarpPortal Forums Repost)
It was a simple thread, wholeheartedly inspired by World of Warcraft's popular achievements system (that most every other modern-day MMO and even a couple of game consoles have adopted). It was in that very thread that I began compiling what would be the RO equivalent of some WoW achievements, achievements that would be doable on any job class in RO. Cooking achievements, refining achievements, exploring achievements... Achievements that I would love to do if RO had an achievements system.

I was playing the original Oregon Trail on an Apple emulator site when I came up with the idea to do a game of Oregon Trail with popular iRO people.
It was just something funny to do and I didn't really expect the community to like it all that much (if at all). So I was very much surprised to see about 19 responses to my thread after I made the first post. From there, I started posting progress screenshots of my gaming round and it just took off.
iROregon Trail (ROund 2)
iROregon Trail (ROund 3)
Certain members of the community didn't like how they died off before I got to the end so I decided to do redemption rounds in an extra special effort to try to keep everyone alive.
iROregon Trail (1st Redemption)

Welcome to Ragnarok Online II, the sequel to Ragnarok Online! It seems that there is much about the RO2 interface that is difficult to understand for both RO players and brand new players alike. Worry not, I will teach you what you need to know to survive in this strange post-cataclysmic world!
First off, the basics:
Default Shortcut Keys
All About Kharas
Now that you've read through those, let's explore more of the user interface that wasn't explained in those pages.
If there's any other UI tutorial that's needed, feel free to post suggestions here.Read more >
Welcome to Ragnarok Online! I commend you on finding this game as it's been around since 2002 and not very many people still remember it from the old ages of MMORPGs. A lot of things have changed since RO first came out, the most prominent being its interface overhaul which was introduced with the Renewal update. If you're not familiar with the old pre-Renewal version of RO, that's okay! You're better off for it, believe me.
Now let's start off with the basics, shall we?
Leveling curve, Stat attributes, Cast times
Basic window, Skill menu, Character menu
Map and Party search
Storage sorting, UI configuration, Quest log
Now that you've read through those, let's explore more of the user interface that wasn't adequately e…Read more >
It's been a long road of rigorous questing that has led me here to compiling this Wiki today. In the past, I've been hesitant to quest in RO because I just suck at pre-Renewal mechanics and monsters. I could never make enough money to buy the gears I need to complete these story quests in areas that I felt was far out of my reach because of lacking the proper gears. I am saddened to have never completed Dandelion's Request because of this.
With Renewal, questing has become more accessible for me and other players like me. I've discovered a side of the game I never though would ever be within my reach. With the help of fellow players from the iRO community, I finally completed my very first quest chain (Arunafeltz) and I couldn't be happier.…Read more >
On a whim, I decided to host a Christmas event this year for the community of iRO.
Secret Odin Gift Exchange (2013)
Making this thread, I thought to myself "Eh, the iRO community isn't that generous. I'll probably get maybe 20-30 people at most."
Secret Odin Gift Exchange (2013): Phase 2
Little did I expect over 150 players would sign up to participate in what I thought would be a small event. :o Even more unexpected was the amount of players generous enough to become Secret Odins and part with their hard-earned items to make someone's Christmas very special.
Well, the day finally came and it was time for me to become an event host for the very first time. I looked at the stack of Megaphones that CM Oda gave me and felt hesitant to use them. Th…Read more >
