Headgear

Headgears are gear that are worn on the head. These fall into 3 subcategories of wear:

• Upper Headgear - worn on the top of the head (e.g. a hat).
• Middle Headgear - worn on the middle of the head (e.g. glasses, etc.).
• Lower Headgear - worn over or in the mouth (e.g. piece of leaf, a ninja mask, etc.)

Up until recently, headgears in Ragnarok Online were the only means of character display customization for players. With the implementation of the costume system, players can now further customize the look of their characters with garment gear like wings and backpacks.

In RO, headgears can be carded with special bonuses or certain properties. They can be obtained from monster drops or bought from Merchants and shopkeepers.
