Swords are long bladed weapons that are usually utilized by Swordsman job classes, although Merchant and Thief job classes have been found wielding them alongside Super Novices. There are three separate categories of swords:
- One-Handed Swords - Double-edged swords that can be used with one hand. These tend to be used in tandem with shields.
- Two-Handed Swords - Double-edged swords that require two hands to use properly. They are usually very big and heavy.
- Katana - Single-edged swords that are meant to be used with two hands. They are generally lightweight but strong.
