Electronics Extreme is an online entertainment service provider founded in 2014 with the goal of becoming a leading gaming provider with a team of experienced gaming entrepreneurs and gamers who understand the needs of fellow gamers. They aim to implement a policy of selecting and launching quality games and creating a community of gamers, internet cafe operators and partners in businesses associated with the gaming industry such as resellers of prepaid cards, media in the gaming industry, internet data center, and internet service provider (ISP).[2]
History[]
On 2014 December 18, Electronics Extreme launched Infestation: Survivor Stories, a zombie horror MMOFPS. Over 1 million accounts were created for the game by 2015 March 20.
Electronics Extreme was awarded Best Game Provider and Best Exhibitor at the Thailand Game Awards 2015.
On 2016 April 1, Electronics Extreme entered a licensing agreement with GRAVITY to take over hosting rights of the Thailand server of Ragnarok Online (thRO) from AsiaSoft.[3] After AsiaSoft shut down their RO servers, thRO data was handed over to Electronics Extreme. Electronics Extreme plans to merge the data into a Classic server, which would be opened alongside their free-to-play server in July.[4] Electronics Extreme successfully relaunched RO on 2016 July 13.[5]
After Level Up! Games lost the rights to pRO, server data was transferred to Gravity Interactive. Electronics Extreme later re-launched pRO for the Philippines region on 2017 June 20 with fresh servers.[6]
