Margaretha Sorin is a young Priestess of the Prontera Sanctuary who is known to be playful, merry, and brazen. Her fellow nun Sister Linus is very fond of her.
Story[]

One day, a group of adventurers came to the Prontera Sanctuary to hire a Priest to accompany them to Glastheim. At that time, Margaretha was the only Priest available for the job. Many members of the church felt it was too dangerous and advised against Margaretha from going, but she was too determined to aid the adventurers. With no other alternatives, the young priestess was allowed to go.
Upon entering the ruins of Glastheim, the adventurers were able to fight through the monsters there with Margaretha's help. Then suddenly the group was surrounded by Wander Men and the adventurers fell on by one until only Margaretha was left alive. She decided to attempt an ancient spell known as Redemptio in order to save the adventurers' lives. Although she didn't do well studying Acolyte and Priest skills, Margaretha learned enough to know how to cast Redemptio.
Fortunately, Margaretha succeeded casting the spell at the cost of her own life. Once revived, the adventurers used a spare Yggdrasil Leaf on Margaretha and managed to defeat the Wander Men. They return Margaretha back to the Prontera Sanctuary safely in thanks for her sacrifice. Because of Margaretha's success, she was promoted from Priestess to High Priestess. She then began traveling the world to help out adventurers any way she can.
She eventually left on a mission to Lighthalzen and hasn't been heard back since.[1] The mission turns out to be the clandestine operation to find the missing king of Rune-Midgarts. Their investigations led them to the city of Lighthalzen, where they split up in order to cover more area. Margaretha is the first to return to the city, choosing to feed the Pecopecos of the group before heading in. As she did so, she meets up with Cecil Damon and Howard Alteisen who both report getting little to no information for their mission. Cecil suspects that Lighthalzen has absolutely nothing to do with their objective and that something was amiss. Howard uses the opportunity to express his love for Cecil, which earns him a Land Mine from the sniper. After Margaretha heals up Howard, Seyren's Pecopeco runs off and the three of them are then approached by a Schwarzwald guard who leads them to an underground bunker to meet up with the rest of their group.
Margaretha, Cecil, and Howard are assumed to have been drugged with sleeping gas and taken by Rekenber scientists. Margaretha was implanted with a Rune Stone (imitation of Ymir's Heart Piece) and placed in a holding tank to be observed. Seyren's clone arrives to break her free, but Margaretha dies in the clone's arms. Seyren's clone carries Margaretha's lifeless body to the morgue and lays it to rest next to his real body. Margaretha creates two replicas of herself with the Rune Stone, one of which stands guard over Seyren's body and the other goes on to find the others and aid in the final confrontation with Wolfchev.[2]
