Story[]

SPOILER WARNING: Plot and/or ending details follow.

The son of a Pronteran knight, Seyren lived with his sister Keyron, mother, and father within the kingdom of Rune-Midgarts. While their father was away, Keyron ended up in an Orc base playing hide-and-seek and young Seyren and their mother had to come save her. As they fled the pursuing orc warriors, Seyren was forced to protect his sister and mother until the Prontera knights could arrive to aid them. Unfortunately, their mother was killed in the process and they grew up with only their father. When he came of age, Seyren chose the path of swordsmanship and rose through the ranks of the Order of the Knights to become a Lord Knight of the kingdom.

Seyren's relationship with his sister became strained when on a mission, Seyren chose to hire another wizard from the Wizard Guild instead of his sister. He became greatly injured as a result, requiring Margaretha to heal him. Keyron angrily berates him for picking someone else over her when she was more qualified and skilled.

One day, Seyren was summoned by Captain Herman von Efesiers of the Prontera Chivalry to lead a clandestine operation to find the king of their country, who had gone missing while on vacation. He was accompanied by Margaretha Sorin of the Prontera Sanctuary, his sister Keyron, Howard Alteisen of the Blacksmith Guild, Cecil Damon of the Hunter Guild, and Eremes Guile of the Assassins Guild. Their investigations led them to the city of Lighthalzen, where they split up in order to cover more area. Seyren, Keyron, and Eremes later meet up in the Lighthalzen hotel's tavern where they await the rest of their search party. Eremes is suspicious of the whole situation as they were supposed to all meet the president of Schwarzwald in the country's capital of Juno, but were notified to meet in Lighthalzen instead. They are eventually approached by a Schwarzwald guard seeking to take them to the country's president. After verifying the guard's identity, the three of them follow the guard to an underground location.

While waiting for the rest of their comrades, Seyren and the others are drugged with sleeping gas and taken by Schwarzwald guards. Seyren manages to snap himself awake upon hearing Eremes' voice, but was hit with a second dose of sleeping gas that finally does him in. After going under, Wolfchev implants a Rune Stone (imitations of Ymir's Heart Piece) inside of Seyren and places him under observation within a holding tank. Seyren dies from the experiment and his body was sent to the morgue. However, his unyielding desire to save his friends causes him to duplicate and his clone goes to find and save Margaretha. Unfortunately, it was too late for Margaretha, so she dies in the arms of Seyren's copy, causing the copy to dissipate away. Seyren produces another copy, this time with Seyren's full consciousness. With no memory of what had happened to him, Seyren's new replica goes to find out what became of his comrades.

Seyren's replica learns of the experiments that his group became part of and was able to reunite with the rest of his comrades to confront the scientist behind everything. It was during this final confrontation that the Seyren replica realizes what he truly was and sought to let the world know of Wolfchev's crimes. The Seyren replica was able to escape the Regenschirm Laboratory and find his Pecopeco. Putting all the incriminating documents into the Pecopeco's saddle pouch, the Seyren replica sends the giant bird on its way as it dissipates away. Seyren's original remains in the laboratory to this day, creating clones with the aid of the Rune Stone implanted within.[3]
