VinaGame was the publisher of the Vietnam server for Ragnarok Online (vRO).
History[]
The vRO server went into open beta in 2006.[1] It was shut down on 2007 February 5 due to not placing more restrictions on RMT. It then went commercial in April 2007.
The vRO server later shut down on 2008 June 20, having been in service for about 14 months. Asiasoft re-launched vRO with only a free-to-play server called Odin on 2008 November 28 and went commercial on 2008 December 29.
In late 2010, Asiasoft announced it would be ceasing service permanently in January 2011 due to an inability to reach a contractual agreement with Gravity Korea (similar to euRO). The service was terminated on 2011 January 24.[2]
