Roughly a month after NGames Interactive shut down their Ragnarok Journey servers, Gravity Interactive has decided to shut down their servers as well.

It is with a heavy heart that we must announce the closure of the Ragnarok Journey servers. Our adventure with this great community is coming to an end. The servers will be closing on May 31st, and all payment options have been turned off at this time.
Starting now, until May 31st, if your Ragnarok Journey account has GEMs that have not been spent, you may send in a ticket at www.support.warpportal.com, and we will transfer these points to a PC Warpportal Game of your choice that uses Warpportal Points.
Ragnarok Journey is coming to an end, but the adventures in Midgard continue in many other Warpportal titles. For more information on other great Ragnarok adventures, please visit the Warpportal homepage at www.warpportal.com."

Earlier this year, Gravity Interactive shut down their ROSE Online servers, shortening their already small offering of PC games to just Ragnarok Online, Ragnarok Online II, Requiem, and Dragonica/Dragon Saga. It remains to be seen if more games under Gravity Interactive will shut down as time goes on. As for Ragnarok Journey itself, it doesn't seem likely the browser-based game has any better longevity than the average mobile game.
