Gravity Entertainment Corporation produces and distributes animation series, such as Ragnarok the Animation. It also develops and distributes online animated games. Gravity Entertainment Corporation was formerly known as RO Production Co., Ltd. and changed its name to Gravity Entertainment Corporation in February 2005. The company was founded in 2003 and is based in Tokyo, Japan. As of January 20, 2004 Gravity Entertainment Corporation operates as a subsidiary of Gravity Co., Ltd.[7] Since no other major animation projects have been greenlit since the release of Ragnarok the Animation, Gravity Game Entertainment Co., Ltd is currently in the process of liquidation given its focus on animation.[8]
