Story[]

SPOILER WARNING: Plot and/or ending details follow.

Isaac is introduced to the invited adventurer by his brother Jurgen in their Prontera palace villa. Isaac expresses that the adventurer must be troubled to have to visit such a boring family as theirs, to which Katrin is quick to chastise him for making both her and Jurgen look bad in front of the adventurer. Isaac counters that it was simply a joke to lighten the dreary atmosphere. Katrin still doesn't think it's funny and apologizes to the adventurer for Isaac's poor humor. Jurgen changes the subject and exclaims that he wants to go home as soon as they can as he finds the palace villa small and restricting. Katrin then turns her attention to Jurgen for insulting the Royal Assembly with his selfish desires. Seeing that she was powerless to do anything about her hopeless brothers, Katrin encourages the adventurer to have tea with their parents as they would love to hear the adventurer's stories.

Isaac leaves and returns some time later to hear his brother and sister arguing down the hall. He appears before them in their villa and reminds the both of them that they have a reputation to maintain as representatives of the Wigner family, pointedly telling Jurgen that he's already lost the throne so he shouldn't make things worse. He then presents Katrin's jewelry box to her, explaining that he had taken it because there were too many people in the room and he didn't want it to get lost. Katrin then chastises him for taking the box without telling her, to which Isaac thought it unfair for her to punish him when he took the box for her sake. If their parents—especially their father—found out that Katrin had lost her jewelry box, Katrin would be scolded for it and Isaac didn't want that to happen. Jurgen asks Katrin what was in the box that was so important and Katrin reveals that she keeps personal notes in the box like a diary. She feels that it's the only way for her to express herself in her silence, but realizes that it hasn't done much good for her. She then excuses herself and leaves with her jewelry box.

After Katrin disappears, Isaac wonders what was all the fuss about and Jurgen explains everything to him. Isaac blames the bad rumors about their sister on Jurgen as he felt it was his responsibility as the candidate representative of the Wigners. Jurgen is surprised that Isaac is also aware of that, but never told him either. Isaac counters that Jurgen wouldn't have taken his words to heart if he had told him as he had always been treated well by everyone. He had also been treated less fortunately like their sister because of Jurgen. Jurgen feels ashamed that his siblings were being compared to him all their lives and that he was oblivious to their suffering the entire time until now.

Seeing that Jurgen is finally on the same page with them, Isaac turns their attention to what can be done to make their sister feel better. Jurgen recalls that their sister had gotten mad at him once and Isaac remembers that as well. Unsure of what to do, Jurgen asks the adventurer for ideas and the adventurer wonders what usually quells their sister's anger. Isaac insists that he shouldn't have to do anything as it wasn't his fault that their sister is mad at them, but Jurgen points out that the whole mess started with him taking Katrin's box in the first place. The adventurer suggests either waiting until Katrin calms down or give her something that she likes. Jurgen and Isaac are at a loss as to what would please their sister, a startling revelation of how poor their sibling relationship is. The adventurer notes that Katrin is likely to value experiences and memories due to her keeping a diary, which triggers a memory for Jurgen of walking around Comodo Beach together gathering stones on the shore and in one of the caves. Isaac also recalls Katrin collecting Sea Stones and storing them in her room. The adventurer asks what Sea Stones are and Jurgen explains that they're special stones that look like the sea inside of them. The three of them would often dig them up whenever they went on summer vacation to Comodo. Isaac heard that they can't be found on the beach in recent days, but they could still be collected from the Medusas inside one of the Comodo caves. He had tried to spread them all over the world, but because they became hard to come by, he gave up on that plan. Jurgen also recalls that Katrin collected some flowers along with the stones; flowers that didn't decay like other flowers. The adventurer suspects that it may be Witherless Roses, which Isaac couldn't believe actually exists. He figures just replacing it with another flower is good enough, but the adventurer points out that if you keep replacing the flower, then it wouldn't be the same flower that was originally liked anymore. Isaac then wonders when the adventurer would collect the stones and rose for them, to which the adventurer exclaims in surprise. Isaac responds that they cannot collect the items themselves as Isaac has business to attend to and Jurgen attracts too much attention with his looks; the adventurer is the only one who can do the job. The adventurer reluctantly agrees and heads off.

The adventurer returns some time later with the Sea Stones and Witherless Rose in hand. Isaac calls Katrin over and the three Wigner siblings resolve their differences with each other. With their relationship mended, they give their thanks to the adventurer and offer to help him/her any way they can in the future.[2]

While expecting to meet Wolfe Lugenburg, Isaac instead encounters the adventurer again at the Wigner villa. He initially assumes the adventurer is there for his brother, but quickly deduces that the adventurer appeared on Wolfe's behalf. He wasn't expecting to see the adventurer and wonders if Wolfe has decided to cancel their appointment for that day. The adventurer responds affirmatively and relays that Wolfe wishes to have a certain item returned to him. Isaac wonders if Wolfe actually trusts the adventurer or if this task is a test to see if the adventurer could be trusted. He apologizes for distrusting the adventurer, but expresses that he really needed to be sure that the adventurer could be trusted to handle the item in question as it was a very important item. The adventurer understands and Isaac hands over the New Business Item Sample that Wolfe had given him. Before the adventurer leaves, Isaac implores him/her to look into an unsavory rumor about Helmut Lugenburg circulating around Prontera. He wants to verify the truth about it since it could affect his business relationship with the Lugenburgs in general.

A long time passes before the adventurer returns to Isaac with a Top Secret Document written by Wolfe. Isaac looks over the document and sees that his current business ventures with Wolfe will be halted indefinitely and that Wolfe proposes going in a different direction with their partnership. Isaac is disappointed that Wolfe no longer wishes to fund a war, as being involved in such a deal would have impressed his family. However, he fully supports Wolfe's decision and looks forward to what their new business venture will bring.[3]

Isaac later appears at the Ritual of Blessing with the rest of his family. The ritual begins with Kronecker leading everyone to chant their blessings upon the chosen candidate Peter Heine.

On behalf of the seven royal families supporting Rune-Midgarts
Here is the new appointed representative
May the blessing starlight reach the glory of the earth
Please allow the power from the source to be granted for all beings
The courage to charge forward and strike the enemy
The heart to embrace everything in this world
The strong will to protect everything within reach
The intact pride of justice and faith that never bends no matter what
The virtue of looking up to others with a humble mind
And the wisdom to see the truth

Before the ritual could complete, an intruder appears and strikes down Peter. The intruder elaborates that he heard that a piece Ymir's Heart was hidden in the Room of Consciousness, but it turned out to be a fake. The adventurer and the royal families attempt to approach the intruder, but the intruder threatens that if they take another step he will destroy the fake Heart of Ymir. Kronecker is surprised that the Heart of Ymir is fake, which causes the intruder to realize that none of the royal families know where the real one is hidden if they were ignorantly carrying out the ritual with a fake. The intruder is frustrated that he wasted his time with a fake and decides to leave without causing more of a scene. However, he quickly backtracks on his word and destroys the fake Heart of Ymir. The royal families are then accosted by more intruders, but they are able to fend them off with the help of the adventurer. The intruders disappear and the royal families evacuate the ritual hall.[4]
