Maenne is a new nurse who was assigned to Malaya's Bangungot Hospital. She specializes in exorcism as opposed to looking after patients.
Story[]

Maenne had arrived in Malaya some time earlier to begin work curing the Bangungot Hospital of its paranormal abnormality. She managed to successfully expel Bangungot's spirit out of the hospital and kept it out with the help of an old lady and a nearby shaman's talismans. She was in the process of addressing the second floor of the hospital when she encounters an adventurer wandering around with another nurse in tow along with some talismans. The adventurer proceeds to overlay the talisman near the door with another, which causes the other nurse to snicker in victory. It seems she had been waiting for someone to disable the talismans around the hospital and had tricked the adventurer into doing it for her. She attempts to spirit away both Maenne and the adventurer until she was repelled by the talismans still on the adventurer's person. Nurse Las then kicks them out of the hospital to get them out of her way.
Outside, Maenne tells the adventurer that she was not expecting to see anyone else in the hospital and reveals that Nurse Las was none other than the apparition known as a Bangungot. Maenne goes on to explain that she had been assigned to the hospital in order to exorcise Bangungot from the hospital as she had been killing patients and turning them into monsters. She was in the process of doing just that when the adventurer showed up. The adventurer then reveals that Bangungot had been posing as her, which surprises Maenne. She notes it must've been a shocking revelation for the adventurer and admits that the monster was rather smart in doing so. However, she doesn't let the adventurer off the hook as she blames the norman for interrupting her job. Maenne then tasks the adventurer with finishing what he/she started and says that if he/she manages to make it to Bangungot's room, she will open the door to the second floor for the adventurer to take down the monster.[1]
