The Merchant Guild is the backbone of Rune-Midgarts' economy. It is thanks to them that regulations on trade allows even the poorest of adventurers to have the ability to buy what they need at a suitable price.
Many merchants from the guild will go on to become crafters in the Blacksmith Guild and the Alchemist Union, further stimulating the country's economy.
