Philip Varsez is a great Alchemist living in the far north. Foremost in the research of alchemy, Philip scoured the globe to find rare materials containing magical energies to conduct his studies.

One day, Philip's travels brought him to a northern village known for its freezing weather. When he arrived, the town had been destroyed and laid in smolders. It was a grisly sight, full of injured laying at the roadside and begging to be put out of their misery. Amidst the cries of despair, Philip came across two infants protected within a melting snowman. The snowman was none other than Snowysnow, who had used his body to protect the infants from the destruction of the town. Philip was touched by the snowman's sacrifice and saved him with his alchemy. Afterwards, he transported Snowysnow and the infants to Lutie, the safest place in the world.[1]
