Objectives[]
Learn how to cook from Charles Orleans.
Summary[]
"Oh, hello. I'm Madeleine Chu, chef apprentice to Sir Charles. May I help you with anything today?"
[I want to learn cooking, too!]
"If you want to learn cooking, why don't you ask Sir Charles? He's fairly harsh to his students, but he does it out of tough love. He demands nothing less than absolute perfection, you know.
If you manage to get Sir Charles to teach you a recipe, you should practice it over and over again to hone your skills. Then, you'll find yourself improving at cooking.
Now, Sir Charles will only teach students that are truly committed to cooking. You might want to show your dedication with the proper attire... like a Chef Hat.
But yes, Sir Charles has very little patience for beginners, meaning that you'll have to be patient with his teaching methods..."
Notes[]
- After talking to Madeleine, you must have the Chef Hat equipped in order to continue the quest with Charles.
- Because the Chef Hat must be equipped, Novices and Super Novices cannot do this quest.
- Cookbooks 1-5 will only be lent out if you have the required items.
- Level 1 Cookbook - 10 Pumpkin
- Level 2 Cookbook - 5 Well-Baked Cookies
- Level 3 Cookbook - 5 Sushi
- Level 4 Cookbook - 5 Bao
- Level 5 Cookbook - 10 Shoot
- Cookbooks 6-10 can only be found via monster drops.
Rewards[]
- Acess to the Cooking system
- Access to level 1-5 Cookbooks
- Access to Purchasable Outdoor/Home Cooking Kits
Completion[]
"Oh, I'm in great need of some rest. Unless you have something incredibly important to ask of me, please let me take a break~"
[I want to learn more recipes.]
"You want to learn more recipes? I suppose that you should borrow another cookbook then. Before that, please return the cookbook that you were studying, okay?
Now, choose the cookbook that you want to borrow by entering a level from 1 to 5. There are more advanced books, but I'm not lending those out. Oh, and hit 0 to cancel.
Now, before I let you borrow one of my beloved cookbooks, I have a small condition you must fulfill."
