Rafflesias are aggressive sentient bushes that inhabit the fields around Lighthalzen. It is unsure if their existence is magical or scientific in origin.

- Rafflesias in the real world are parasitic flowering plants that have enormous flowers. The buds rise from the ground or directly from the lower stems of their host plants. When the flowers bloom, they are known for having the appearance and scent of rotting flesh, in order to attract flies for pollination.[1]
