The Sandstorm Fortress is the secret headquarters of the Assassins Guild during the Age of Gods. It is protected by sand cyclones and only sanctified Assassins were allowed entry into the fortress.
The fortress was eventually destroyed and the ruins laid in the sands of the Sograt Desert for more than 300 years.
