Splendide is the garrison base of the Laphine, established to investigate Yggdrasil's sickness and prevent it from becoming worse.
Geography
In order to combat the harsh climate of Jotunheim, purifying devices that resemble mushrooms were implemented all around Splendide, causing the ice to melt and a more Alfheim-like condition to spread over the area. As such, this section of Jotunheim experiences warmer climates than the rest of the realm.

Garrison Buildings
Splendide features several buildings essential for the day-to-day operations of the camp in addition to Yai (Laphine housing).

The main office of the garrison that functions as the primary meeting place of all Laphine stationed at Splendide.
The garrison's prison where all suspicious individuals are locked up until they can be dealt with.
Splendide's laboratory allows Laphine scientists to better study the many different aspects of the Jotunheim landscape.
The record building where reports and findings about Jotunheim research and discoveries are kept and stored.
Splendide's armory and storage building where supplies are distributed throughout the garrison.
Splendide's tavern, which helps keep up soldier morale by providing a temporary escape from daily life in the garrison.
Quests
All quests in Splendide require the completion of the Ring of the Wise King and Messenger quests.
