Well, it finally happened. A couple weeks ago I finally got my first character, my Rune Knight, to 150. I was happy to finally get a level capped character. My plan for after that was to finally focus more on my other characters, like my Archbishop. But, unfrotunately this was when they finally decided to get an update from kRO and got the level 175 update.
Oddly enough, I don't feel any major urge to get my RK to 175. I'm not saying I don't want to, just don't feel any major urge. While I'm impressed with the people that have already gotten characters to 175, I know that I could never do that. Even if I had more connections with people to do the necessarry parties, I don't think I could play that extreme. A guildmate of mine who has a character in a major woe guild was one of those people. But, considering the amount of real money and crazy play time, I don't think I could do that.
I play RO for the social aspects and to relax. While I probably spend more than I would like to admit on Kafra Shop items and VIP, I could never see myself spending the amounts of money some people talk about. (and this is probably why I'll never make any +12 items)
I like playing and just hanging around with people in game. Whenever possible I prefer to party instead of solo grind. Sadly, I probably spend more time hanging with people in game than with my real friends since far too many of my real life friends are married and many with kids. I don't have too many people nearby that I can just hant out with at random. (I can't go to a movie short notice with someone who has to clear things with their spouse and kids) But now I'm just rambling about my personal life.
But, I'm glad that I was at least able to get my oldest character to the 150 cap before the moved it.
