With the Disney College Program completed for the second time (and having done all the stuff I missed out on the first time I did the program), peak season at the parks have come to an end for now. Along with the lull in attendance comes the cutting of work hours; something that I had longed for since I first hired in back in 2011. As a DCP participant, I worked 30 to 35-hour weeks in addition to attending classes for the program. When I accepted the offer to continue working at Disney after the program back then as a part-timer, I expected to get my hours cut considerably. That, to my surprise, did not happen. I continued getting at least 30-35 hours a week despite my much lower seniority compared to my coworkers who were there much longer than I have. On the plus side, it was a steady stream of income that allowed me to pay off my college loans after 3 years. However, the workload left me tired very often. I lacked the energy to pursue my favorite hobbies of art, model-building, and video games. The last of which require a lot more time investment from me due to the nature of video games being a major time sink. Role-playing games (RPGs) were especially time-consuming as they typically ranged from 30-40 hours of play from start to finish. And leaving such a game on hiatus for a very long time makes it hard to get back into the groove.

As of current, my gaming backlog consists of the following:

Assassin's Creed (PC)
Assassin's Creed II (PC)
Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood (PC)
Assassin's Creed III (PC)
Assassin's Creed: Unity (PC)
Elder Scrolls: Skyrim (PC)
Portal 2 (PC)
Shadow of the Colossus (PS2)
Dissidia: Final Fantasy (PSP)
Final Fantasy 4 (PS)
Final Fantasy 5 (PS)
Final Fantasy 6 (PS)

The Assassin's Creed games were recent additions thanks to Humble Bundle, although there's 4 games missing that are part of the main series.

With my first week off from Disney thanks to cut hours, I'm making the most of it and trying to work through as much of my backlog as I can. I'm currently working on finishing FF6 as I was a little over halfway done with that game before I left it in hiatus for at least 2 years. I had to do a lot of backtracking as the last thing I remember was being on an island with an orphanage. Despite that, I'm enjoying the game. I'm not going for full completion, but I at least want to get all playable characters.
